Community Organizations
Our mission is to renew, inspire, support and encourage girls and young women to overcome challenges, excel academically, socially and personally. The Miriam Foundation provides support and resources to help girls and young women stay on track and reach their potential. We encourage them to rise above challenges and flourish academically, socially, physically and emotionally. We expand opportunities so they can cultivate a life of significance and uplift communities.
We provide weekly mentoring, enrichment, overall academic support, teach life skills, and incorporate social emotional learning for girls in the southern tip of Greenville County. We encourage girls and young women to thrive academically and reach high school graduation. The school recommends girls to our program. We serve students from under-resourced communities through in-school and after-school programming. We've seen our girls rise above challenges, and graduates move into college, join the military and some straight into the workforce.
We serve girls through academics, leadership, community, health and wellness. We desire for girls and young women to see their worth and value.
The Miriam Foundation provides a nurturing and safe environment, giving our girls opportunities to grow as leaders, understand their worth and value, while also empowering them through service and compassion for others. We create a place of belonging for our girls and their families.
